When Stackoverflow goes looney like a leftie

I was recently doing reviews on Stackoverflow when a ‘go home you’re drunk’ page ‘caught’ me. Lookie here:

stackoThis was supposed to be a test to catch ‘speeding’ reviewers. I admit that C/C++ are not my strongest points but I can understand code in C/C++ and rarely even write in them.

I guess they went overboard this time.

  1. That was supposed to be a question and it isn’t. It looks like a fragment from a discussion. There is no goal specified, so the question should be closed if the requester does not edit it.

    • The question is well expressed in the title: “How many times does a number/character occurs in a string literal?”.

What I understand is that the user wants to know how to count the occurrences of certain characters.

Definitely the English skills of the writer are not top notch but still this doesn’t disqualify the question, IMHO.

La “intrebarea” lui (“How many times does a number/character occurs in a string literal?”)
